Colorado-based Jan Bonito is a master makeup artist and is owning social media by posting uncanny likenesses of faces just about everyone knows. That’s not even mentioning his Halloween appropriate creations, which are frighteningly lifelike.

Bonito has posed as many celebrities and notorious characters from popular memes. His videos and photographs are shown via multiple social media outlets which showcase his talent. His work is making him a bit of a sensation on the net.
Bonito has also created numerous tutorials showing how others can transform themselves into their favorite characters. Huffington Post on Oct. 8 points to a 15-second clip from Bonito’s Instagram that shows the artist transforming his visage into that of Kentucky county clerk marriage license denier, Kim Davis.
Bonito has also transformed his likeness into that of Lady Gaga, Nikki Minaj, Janet Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Rachel Dolezal and many others.
Some have accused Bonito of performing in blackface, an outmoded practice that is considered offensive and highly racist. These claims do not take into account Bonito’s other transformations, such as his first, which was one of Jessica Lang’s characters from his favorite TV show “American Horror Story.” "People accused me of doing black face…. As I gain popularity, more people are calling me out for that," he told 7News Denver.
